CHAIRMAN LACSON LEADS TURN-OVER OF PNPFI DONATION

The Philippine National Police Foundation, Inc. (PNPFI) represented by its Chairman, PGEN. Panfilo M. Lacson (Ret.) and Trustee Arch. Ka Kuen Chua turn-over various office and police equipment during a ceremony held at the Star Officers Lounge, NHQ Camp BGen. Rafael T. Crame, Quezon City last August 18, 2023. The donation was warmly accepted by no less than the Chief PNP PGEN. Benjamin C. Acorda, Jr. along with Director for Logistics, PMGEN. Mario A. Reyes. In his message, PGEN. Acorda expressed his heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation for the donations extended to the PNP by the Foundation through the years. He emphasizes the importance of collaboration between our law enforcement agency and a dedicated organization. In response, PNPFI Chairman PGEN. Panfilo M. Lacson (Ret.) lauded the PNP for their working and functioning disciplinary mechanism which have penalized and sanctioned around 1,400 erring personnel from January to August of 2023. Chairman Lacson shared that under PNPFI’s charter, a PNP personnel is eligible for election to the board, three (3) years after retirement from active service. With the leadership qualities of the Chief PNP, he trusts that it be put to good use by being the foundation’s Chairman in 2027 or 2028, assuring the Chief PNP that the position is very fulfilling. Chairman Lacson hoped that in their own small way, the Foundation has managed to fill the gap in the logistical requirement of the PNP. In parting, Chairman Lacson gave the PNP a constant reminder that we hear every day, each time we bid each other goodbye… KEEP SAFE. A token of gratitude was presented to Chairman Panfilo M. Lacson by PNP Chief, PGEN. Benjamin C. Acorda, Jr., assisted by PMGEN. Mario A. Reyes, the Director for Logistics. The Philippine National Police Foundation have extended various office and police equipment valued at 280M to more than 350 Philippine National Police’s units and offices nationwide.
