PNP GETS P1.7-M POLICE, OFFICE EQUIPMENT DONATION

The Philippine National Police Incorporated (PNPFI) yesterday donated P1.7 million worth of police and office equipment to the PNP as part of its effort to help the national police force provide better service to the public. PNP Deputy Chief for Operations Deputy Director General Fernando H. Mendez, Jr., in behalf of PNP chief Directorl General Oscar D. Albayalde, accepted the PNPFI donation from its vice chairman, Ms. Teresita Ang-See and treasurer Mr. Ramon Lim. PNPFI is chaired by former PNP chief-turned Senator Panfilo 'Ping" M. Lacson. The lates PNPFI donation include 44 sets of Intel Core i3 7th Gen desktop computer; five units of Epson L360 3in1 printer; 17 units of Epson L120 printers; two units of Acer x118 DP projector with wide screen; one Brothers Scanner ADS-1100W unit; 11 Nikon D3400 DSLR cameras; sis sets of Behringer Portable Public Address System; 20 units of Motorola SMP 468 handheld radios; and Sunpeed mountain bikes. The equipment will be issued to 13 units PNP municipal stations, one city police station, one national support unit, and one national office located primarily in various 3rd, 4th, and 5th-class municipalities nationwide. Over the past 15 months, the PNPFI has already donated more than P10.8 million worth of equipment to 76 police offices and units all over the country, said PNP spokesman, Chief Superintendent John C.
